UFC 195 is less than five weeks away, but it continues to grow with the addition of a new lightweight fight.

Abel Trujillo (12-7 MMA, 3-3 UFC) is set to meet Tony Sims (12-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC) at next month’s pay-per-view in Las Vegas. UFC officials recently announced the new booking.

UFC 195 takes place Jan. 2 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. The event is headlined by a welterweight title fight between champ Robbie Lawler and former interim titleholder Carlos Condit.

Trujillo will be looking to snap a two-fight losing skid that started at UFC 181 about a year ago with a submission loss to Tony Ferguson. After a lengthy layoff, he returned in November against Gleison Tibau at UFC Fight Night 77 in Brazil. But for the second straight time, he was submitted with a rear-naked choke.

Sims made his promotional debut in June at UFC Fight Night 70 with a first-round knockout win over Steve Montgomery. It was the Iowan’s fourth straight wins. But in August, at UFC Fight Night 74 in Canada, he dropped a unanimous decision to Olivier Aubin-Mercier for his first loss since October 2013.
